A wonderfully engaging 50 minutes, featuring - of course - the musical adventures of our animal friends. The program has been designed for family audiences to share the experiences of singing traditional American songs.

Drawing from an extensive list of song collections such as Carl Sandburg's “American Songbag”, Vance Randolph's “Ozark Folk Songs” and the Lomaxes' “Folk Songs of North America”, Suzanne and Jim entwine skillful instrumentation on the 5-string banjo, guitar, mandolin, flute, penny whistle, spoons and courtship dulcimer with delightful harmonizations that encourage group participation.

All the classic animal tales are here - the ones that captivate young minds and teach simple lessons. Sing along with familiar story songs and marvel at the old time Limberjacks- wooden puppets that will dance their way into your hearts.

As a special feature Suzanne and Jim give the listeners a brief introduction to American Sign Language. Everyone learns to “finger spell” C-H-I-C-K-E-N while singing along with the classic vaudeville song about Ragtime Joe.

Stir up your imagination when you journey with Suzanne and Jim to visit the Animal Fair.
